During her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Jodi reflected on the natural changes that come with her son growing older and becoming more independent. She explained:
“Ngayon 'yung relationship namin ni Thirdy, siyempre when he was younger, naiintindihan ko 'yung pagiging dependent niya sa akin because, of course, I'm the mother.”
As Thirdy enters a new stage in his life, Jodi acknowledged that her son is beginning to carve out his own path. She noted that his time is now mostly spent outside the home due to school and social interactions. Despite these shifts, she emphasized that their connection remains steady. She shared:

“But I think, kung may isang bagay na hindi nagbabago is 'yung relationship naming dalawa.”

“It's more like we have conversations about life.”
