Appearing as a guest on the April 20 episode of the GMA Network program Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Jodi opened up about the deep bond she shares with the couple. Pampi and Iwa officially announced their engagement in February 2026 after 14 years together.

During the interview, Jodi revealed that she was one of the first people to know about the proposal before it was made public.

"Before their announcement, they actually told me first about the engagement. And sa totoo lang, masaya ako para sa kanila. Isang bagay ito na matagal nilang hinintay. Thirteen, fourteen years [na paghihintay] is no joke. And now, it's really happening."

Jodi further emphasized the importance of the couple's long journey together. She reflected on their endurance as a pair, noting that such a milestone is a significant moment for their entire blended family.

"Siguro ang magiging dasal ko lang para sa kanila, is mahalin nila ang isa't isa. Intindihin nila ang isa't isa. [Dahil] sila ang magkakampi, magkatuwang, magkaagapay sa buhay."
