During the interview, Jodi revealed that she was one of the first people to know about the proposal before it was made public.

"Before their announcement, they actually told me first about the engagement. And sa totoo lang, masaya ako para sa kanila. Isang bagay ito na matagal nilang hinintay. Thirteen, fourteen years [na paghihintay] is no joke. And now, it's really happening."
