Carol Banawa, born Carol Claire Aguilar Banawa on March 4, 1981, is a celebrated Filipina singer, actress, and now a nurse based in the United States. She rose to fame in the 1990s as part of Star Magic Batch 4 and quickly became one of the most beloved voices in OPM (Original Pilipino Music). She popularized numerous songs such as 'Bakit 'Di Totohanin,' 'Iingatan Ka,' and 'Kanino Ba.'
In a previous report by KAMI, Carol recalled how she and her son fell ill way back in February. She recounted that her son had a high fever, chills, congestion, body ache, and she also had the same symptoms without congestion. Carol concluded that they may have had COVID and they just didn't know it, and warned others to be extra careful because the virus is "grabe."
Earlier, on Carol's Instagram account, she posted a clip of her daughter singing. The proud mommy could not hide how happy she is with her daughter's performance. The said video also gained various reactions from netizens. She also previously uploaded a clip of herself singing an Adele song. It went viral with more than 20,000 views on Instagram.
