Carol Banawa recounted in a Facebook post that she and her son may have already been hit by the deadly coronavirus.

KAMI learned that the singer, now a frontliner in the US, posted an article detailing how coronavirus was already in the US way back in February.

As Carol said, she was in California in February and as soon as she got back, her son got sick.

Abante stated that he had a high fever for 7 days, and then on the 7th day, he was taken to the ER as his temperature was already high.

His son had chills, severe body ache and congestion. He would say, "Mama I feel like my body is falling apart."

Fortunately, Abante stated that her son did not worsen, but seven days after, Carol suffered from the same symptoms but without congestion. Both she and her son also tested negative .

She said that they probably had COVID already but they just didn't know it. It would also greatly help once the antibody testing would come out.

"Kung yun nga yun eh buti na lang nawala. Pero grabe ung virus na yun as in paralyzing ung chills and bodyache bedrest ka lang talaga," sabi ni Carol.

Bandera also reported that Carol expressed fears of bringing the virus home, which is why they would have a basket by the door and they make it a point to take a bath first before greeting their kids.
