"Lorenz had a flight today to San Francisco. Most of his flights are long haul, 4-5 days siya wala and every time he leaves, parang sobrang bigat ng na fefeel ko like I’m suddenly alone. I can’t fully explain it. I know I’m still adjusting to everything. So many things are new, a new routine, a new home and environment. I’m away from the life and family I was used to. On top of that, I’ve been in and out of the hospital because of health issues, with a scheduled procedure coming up that will require a few days of strict bed rest. I’m overthinking how I’ll take care of my baby in that state? how I’ll manage work deadlines and commitments that I truly want to deliver well. Some days just feel like too much, even when I’m really trying my best to stay strong and think positive.
I try to manage my emotions and my mind, but there are moments when it gets really hard, especially when Lorenz isn’t around. Minsan breakdown na lang. Lahat ng pagod and puyat sabay sabay.
