On Instagram, Barretto shared a reel showing moments from her hospital stay.
The video began with her sharing a long embrace with a doctor, followed by a clip of her lying down on a hospital bed as her son, Noah, lovingly cared for her.
“Yes, this is what depression looks like, so please don’t judge,” Barretto wrote in her caption. “We all need more understanding and compassion.”

Her post drew an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities and fans. Personalities such as Vilma Santos, Vina Morales, Small Laude, and Cristalle Belo left comforting messages in the comments section.
