Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also the content creator behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” which is one of the most anticipated weekly as a source of hot showbiz news. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.
The showbiz reporter and vlogger is also a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He has several children with his wife, and they are all very talented and respectful towards their parents.
In a previous report by KAMI, Ogie urged newly elected Senator Camille Villar to talk to her older brother about resolving issues with Prime Water. He criticized Prime Water for neglecting public concerns, calling their alleged "deadma" attitude frustrating. Ogie questioned where people can turn for help if Prime Water continues to ignore the problems. The post highlights the expectation that Villar use her influence to ensure the company addresses these community issues. Prime Water has been a topic of public discussion due to various issues reported by consumers and stakeholders, which many hope will be addressed more seriously moving forward.
In another post, Ogie responded to those upset over Bam Aquino's senatorial win, urging them not to let anger take over. His message on Facebook emphasized acceptance and reminded people that “darkness or evil” does not always prevail. The senator-elect’s victory received mixed reactions from the public, drawing both celebration and criticism. Ogie encouraged the public to move forward with grace and uphold respect for the democratic process. The post quickly gained attention online, with supporters and critics sharing their thoughts on the showbiz reporter and vlogger’s statement.
