John Estrada, a seasoned actor and one of the stars of Batang Quiapo, recently took to social media to express his heartfelt support for longtime friend and television personality Willie Revillame.

In a post made on Thursday, May 8, John explained the reasons behind his decision to vote for Willie, who is eyeing a Senate seat this year, clarifying that it goes far beyond friendship as well.

"Mga kababayan, iboboto ko itong tao na ito, hindi dahil kaibigan ko siya at mahal ko 'tong tao na 'to, kundi dahil alam ko kung gaano niya kayo kamahal, lalo na ang mahihirap," John had began.

Highlighting Willie's generosity and dedication to public service, John shared how the TV host has consistently helped disaster-stricken Filipinos, often using his own money and resources.

"Napatunayan na ng isang WILLIE REVILLAME na kung may sakuna na nangyayari sa bansa, milyon milyon ang nilalabas niya sa sarili niyang bulsa na pinaghirapan niya," he said online.

John further praised Willie's character, describing him as someone who lives simply, free from vices, and deeply kind-hearted.

"May ginintuang puso ang isang WILLIE REVILLAME, napaka-simple at walang bisyo at napakabait na tao," he wrote, firmly adding, "Walang alam yan sa pangungurakot, totoo po yan."

Concluding his impassioned message, John emphasized what he values most in a candidate.

"Kaya ako, iboboto ko ngayon ay yung ALAM KONG MAY MALASAKIT SA KAPWA LALO NA SA MAHIHIRAP, MAGANDA ANG HANGARIN SA KAPWA LALO NA SA MAHIHIRAP," he declared.
