Veteran actress Delia Razon has passed away, Carla Abellana revealed in a social media post on Sunday, March 16.

On her Instagram page, Carla shared an art card paying tribute to Razon. It shows the latter’s photo and the words “Celebrating the life of Lucy May G. Reyes ‘Delia Razon’.”

Delia, born on August 8, 1980, died at 94 years old on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

However, the Kapuso actress didn't disclose any details about her maternal grandmother’s cause of death.

Delia Razon, known as the Queen of Costume Pictures in the '50s, was a well-regarded actress that's been featured in numerous costume and period films from LVN Pictures.

According to Philstar.com, Delia was usually paired with the dashing Mario Montenegro, billed the Brown Adonis. They co-starred in Rodrigo de Villa, Doce Pares, Higit sa Korona, Prinsipe Teñoso, Dambanang Putik, Mga Pusong May Lason, Bohemyo, Rebelde, and Banal O Makasalanan.

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition where the body responds improperly to an infection. During the interview, the actress revealed she was hospitalized for three days.
