MJ Lastimosa, a former beauty queen, recently addressed a local Filipino makeup artist's online rant, in which the latter claimed they were ignored after greeting her at a mall in Las Vegas.

The makeup artist took to Facebook to share their disappointment, writing, "Yung MJ Lastimosa, nakita [ko] dito sa mall dito sa Las Vegas. Nag-hi ako tapos tiningnan lang ako (no response) sad..."

However, the makeup artist did not stop there and continued sharing their thoughts on their page.

On Facebook, they talked about the issue again, "I know what you're saying, guys, pero iba yung dating sa akin. I'm an artist too, kahit ano pang pinagdadaanan natin sa buhay, pag ang fan mo ay nag-hi or tinawag ka, a simple response makes the fan happy and it means a lot to the fan diba?"

The post of the makeup artist eventually gained traction among netizens online, eventually reaching MJ, who wasted no time in setting the record straight with her signature humor.

"Kaloka ka, ante. Lumingon ako, nag-smile. I said hello. Of course, malayo kami ng friend ko, you probably did not hear," the former beauty queen clarified to the Filipino makeup artist online.

She then playfully added in her comment, "Next time, gusto mo ba ng beso-beso at mahabang chikahan? Pagpasensyahan mo na ang mare mong jetlag, pigang-piga na 'tong energy ko. Next time, tumbling talaga ako papunta sayo."

MJ's witty response quickly went viral, with many netizens appreciating her lighthearted way of addressing the issue, with some even defending the beauty queen from the makeup artist's rant.
