Actress Yayo Aguila recently revealed on the cooking talk show “Lutong Bahay” that she has forgiven Baron Geisler for past actions. During the show's “Kitchen-terrogate” segment, co-host Chef Hazel inquired about Aguila's feelings towards Geisler.

“Oo naman,” Yayo responded. “Nagkita na kami, years ago sa isang event ng showbiz, wala akong choice, nagkasalubong kami. Tapos binati niya ako, nag-sorry naman siya, nag-sorry siya so sa 'kin.”
The actress emphasized the significance of Geisler's apology.
“Malaking bagay 'yung it takes guts para makapag-sorry ka. Feeling ko naman sincere siya,” she added.

In 2013, the Makati Municipal Trial Court Branch 61 found Geisler guilty of acts of lasciviousness against Patrizha Martinez, the daughter of Yayo and actor William Martinez.
Judge Aleli Briones sentenced Geisler to a prison term of six months to two years and ordered him to pay Patrizha ₱30,000 in moral damages.
The case stemmed from an incident in 2008 at a Makati bar, where Baron was accused of touching Patrizha inappropriately.
Yayo shared that she informed her daughter about Geisler's apology.
“Ayoko siyang i-judge pero 'yung nag-sorry siya sa 'kin, sinabi ko 'yun sa daughter ko,” Yayo revealed.
“Actually, ‘yung anak ko, sabi niya, ‘Ma, napatawad ko naman siya eh, pero hindi ko makakalimutan 'yung ginawa niya.’ Ganun din 'yung stand ko. Napatawad naman na namin siya pero ayoko siya makatrabaho, 'yung ganun,” the actress explained.
While Yayo expressed openness to working with Baron on a project, she clarified that she would maintain professional distance on set.
“Pero if given the chance kunyari may magandang project, kasama ko siya, puwede ko naman siyang hindi kausapin sa set. Work is work. So, you don't have to be friends with him kasi sa work di naman kailangan lahat friends mo. Kung work, work lang,” she said.
The actress further reflected on the power of forgiveness.
“Kung si Lord nga nagpapatawad, tayo pa kayang tao? Basta at least kami nabawasan naman kami ng bigat sa dibdib,” Yayo said.
The interview also touched on actor Royce Cabrera's admission of developing “feelings” during hot scenes with Yayo.
