Celebrities, dumagsa at nag-react sa post ni Chito Miranda ukol sa asawang si Neri Miranda

Chito Miranda took to Instagram and expressed his pain and his thoughts on the recent arrest of his wife, former actress Neri Miranda.

Many of their celebrity friends immediately flocked to his post, and sympathized with the whole family, offering prayers for them.

One of the first to react and comment with three praying hands was Ogie Alcasid.

Garlic Garcia said that she is sending prayers for the whole family.

Neri Naig Miranda is an actress who first gained recognition when she joined ABS-CBN's reality show "Star Circle Quest." She was named the 6th runner-up in the talent search. In 2014, she married Chito Miranda, the lead vocalist of the band Parokya ni Edgar.

Earlier, it was confirmed in an ABS-CBN report that Neri Naig was arrested for violations of the Securities Regulations Code and for syndicated estafa. The actress was arrested on Nov. 23 at a convention center of a mall in Pasay. She was arrested the day after she celebrated the 8th birthday of her eldest son. Neri was charged with violations of 14 counts of the Securities Regulations Code and syndicated estafa under the Revised Penal Code.

It can be recalled that on the day of her arrest, Neri was scheduled to speak at a convention center located inside a mall. In Neri’s own post, she was scheduled to speak at the 15th PHILSME Business Expo at 1PM. According to a statement issued by the Southern Police District, they arrested an actress and a businesswoman with alias “Erin” around 2:50PM at basement convention center located within a mall in Pasay City. Recently, ABS-CBN confirmed that it was Neri Naig-Miranda who was arrested by the SPD.
