In her post, Sachi narrated how the past year was difficult for them all, adding that it all started when their father was taken to jail for a crime he didn’t commit.

“Some positivity to bless your feed. About a year ago, my father was taken to jail for a crime he didn't commit. This felt like an affront to justice, made personal. How could evil men roam free and innocent men have their lives overturned just like that?” Sachi said in her post.

“It would've been easy to fall into a pit of bitterness and despair. Admittedly, there were times when I felt the jadedness grow inside me. No good deed goes unpunished, I'd think to myself,” she wrote in her post.

She then praised her father for remaining strong, positive, and resilient throughout his ordeal.

“That said, dad remained strong, positive, and resilient through this whole ordeal. We knew he was facing the hardest challenge. We knew if anyone was struggling, it would be him. But not once did he let up,” Ric Cepeda’s daughter said in her post.

“Even if there were moments he shared how tired he felt, he remained steadfast, somehow able to pluck faith out of this moment and choosing to see the best in others when weaker men would assume the worst,” she added.

Sachi then describe the core qualities of the actor, saying that his character helped him come through.

“Patience. Kindness. Honesty. These are at the core of his character, and they came out stronger than ever. The light kept shining through when the situation would have so easily dimmed it,” she said.
“This week, he has finally been released. It was tempting, through all these months, to go on a tirade of why it's taken this long. Instead, I am overjoyed. From his example, this last year has changed me for the better. Small problems are just that, and they always pass. Suffering is never an excuse to become a horrible person to other people. And even when the world flings the worst of its judgment and lies your way, the only thing that matters is the truth - and those who matter most will know it,” Ric’s daughter said.

Near the end of her post, Sachi said that her message is one of honor and relief, saying that may everyone be fortunate to know someone like her father.

“Today, we celebrate not out of surprise or wonder. We always knew. It was just a matter of time for the world to catch up. Forget ideas of posts of defiance. This is a post of honor and relief,” she said.
“May you all be so lucky to know someone like Richard Cepeda Go,” Ric’s daughter added.
“Happy and excited to see you soon, fasha! And glad the whole fam is gonna be complete again 💖,” Sachi concluded in her post.

Sachi is Ricardo's daughter with ex-wife, Snooky Serna.
