Thieves broke into their vehicle and took their passports and valuable items left inside. Catriona was deeply affected and shared a statement on social media about the incident, admitting that she was traumatized by what happened to them.

Catriona Gray also took to Instagram to share what her body actually looks like since she has scoliosis. She demonstrated what her actual body looked like whenever she relaxed. The Miss Universe 2018 then used the stripes check, turned around, and showed the actual curves that scoliosis was creating. In her caption, she noted that she has been body-shamed because of it, especially when she had her stint in the international pageantry.
