Claudine Barretto, in her recent post, asked her fans to pray for her mother, Estrella 'Inday' Barretto, who has been in the hospital for more than a week.

On Monday, September 16, Claudine took to her Instagram to post a photo that was recently taken at St. Lukes located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

In her post, Claudine wished for her mother to get well soon, saying they love her and need her dearly before revealing her mother's age and condition.

Apparently, Claudine's mother, Inday, is already 87 years old and has Lupus. The actress also mentioned her mom has been in the hospital for quite some time now.

Claudine also mentioned she hasn't been eating and sleeping as of lately due to recent events.

"Mom, we love and need you dearly. Please get well soon. Palanggas, please pray for my Mom. More than a week na siya sa hospital and is 87 years old with Lupus. I need all your prayers please. She is the only parent I have left. I have been checking and taking care of her together with my kuyas Mito and @jjbarretto, my Ate Michi, and sister in law Connie. Thank you po sa inyong lahat, isama niyo na rin po ako sa prayers niyo. I haven't been eating & I'm down to 97 pounds and I haven't been sleeping. God bless you all and your families as well," she wrote.

Claudine Barretto is one of the three famous Barretto sisters, which include Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. Clau rose to fame when she became a cast of the 90's TV show "Ang TV." In 1993, she joined the cast of "Home Along Da Riles," which stars comedy king Dolphy Quizon. Other teleseryes that Claudine starred in include "Mula sa Puso," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan," "Marina," and "Iisa Pa Lamang." She tied the knot with Raymart Santiago in the year 2006, though several years later, the two parted ways.

It is worth noting that Alexa had passed away after battling leukemia for some time now. According to Claudine, she is extending her deepest condolences to the family.
