Ejay Falcon, natupad pangarap na makapagtapos ng college: “Never thought I’d be able to wear a toga”

Ejay Falcon can now boast of a college degree after graduating from the University of Makati recently.

In a video shared by the Philippine Star, Ejay can be seen wearing a toga and confidently climbing up the stage where he got his diploma for Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.

It can be recalled that Ejay, when he was still young, decided to put off his studies for some time in order to work and provide for his family.

He owed his stellar rise to fame to Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus when he was declared the big winner in 2008.

After that, he starred in various TV and movie films, earning him fame that allowed him to cast his hat in the political scene.

Ejay later ran and won as Vice-Governor of Oriental Mindoro, but he never forgot his dream of getting a college degree.

In a statement after his graduation, Ejay admitted he still can’t believe he was able to get a degree at last.

“Everything still feels surreal to me. I never thought I’d still be able to wear a toga, go up on the stage, and get my diploma,” Ejay said.

“Ever since I stopped school to start providing for my family, I also stopped envisioning myself to be in this moment, to experience this incredible life milestone,” the Vice Governor of Oriental Mindoro concluded.

Ejay Falcon is a Pinoy-French actor, endorser, and model. He was born on November 21, 1989. In 2008, he joined and emerged as the “Big Winner” of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus, besting his close rival, Robi Domingo, by a small margin to win the P1.5 million prize. He ran for politics for the first time and became the vice governor of Oriental Mindoro.

Last year, Ejay took to Facebook and expressed his thoughts on the names of the typhoons that hit the Philippines. The first one was "Egay," and the next is "Falcon." When one looks at the name of Ejay, one could see that his first name, "Ejay" is very much similar to "Egay" while his family name is exactly like that of the typhoon. He said in his comment that he is in no way related to the said typhoons.

Two years ago, the young politician proposed to his girlfriend, Jana Roxas, on the eve of the latter’s birthday. A video of the wedding proposal has gone viral, showing Roxas getting emotional as Falcon got on his knees to propose. The actor-turned-politician received an emotional “yes” from Roxas. The party was held at a house of one of Roxas’ friends, with family members of the happy couple present at the said gathering.
