Leyte Representative Richard Gomez has stirred social media buzz anew as he posted a message dedicated to the "writers" about a traffic post.

On Friday, August 30, the actor-turned-politician took to Instagram's Threads to write a short message where he addressed some "writers."

In his now-viral post, Gomez asked netizens if his post had already been deleted and to inform the "writers" to double check when they have time.

"Paki-check nga kung deleted yung post ko? Pakisabi sa mga ungas na writers, tingin tingin din kapag may time," he wrote onto his Threads.

While it is unclear what post Gomez was talking about, it is worth noting that the post was made amid his controversial post about the EDSA traffic.

Previously, Gomez took to his Facebook page to write a status about how bad the traffic in EDSA was and how the bus lane should be opened.

Richard Gomez is one of the most popular Filipino actors of his generation. He is also a director, television presenter, athlete, and politician. Since 2016, he has been serving Ormoc City as its mayor.
