Gerald Anderson, in a recent interview with an ABS-CBN reporter has finally addressed the rumors about his wedding with actress Julia Barretto.

It can be recalled that rumors about him and the actress tying the knot abroad has stirred a buzz online.

Even showbiz reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz has asked him as to whether there is truth to the rumors.

In the interview, Gerald expressed surprised at the question and then proceeded to address the rumors, along with an expression of his belief that such matters are not meant to be kept secret.

“May mga nagsasabing online na you guys are getting married this year,” the ABS-CBN reporter asked.

“Oh wow! Hahaha what a segway! Ba't ko binanggit yung kids kanina...” Gerald replied, apparently surprised by the question.

“No,” the actor said with a definitive answer.

“Kapag nangyari man yun it's not something na itatago or it's not something na... Even si Mama Ogs eh, nag-message sa akin na 'Ge, totoo ba yung ano, yung nasabi mo...' hindi ko... I'll be proud of that,” he added.

“It's just... Alam mo cliche pakinggan pero andami ko pang naka-linya na projects,” Gerald concluded, indicating that a wedding isn’t something that’s on their mind right now because of their busy schedule.

Gerald Randolph Opsima Anderson Jr., or simply Gerald Anderson, is a Filipino-American actor born on March 7, 1989. He is best known for his lead roles in several TV series, including Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, Tayong Dalawa, Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo, and Budoy.

In the same interview, Gerald expressed what he felt about the movie of Julia and her ex-BF, Joshua Garcia. In an interview, he was first asked of his reaction about rumors about him and Julia, as well as what he thinks of the career of his girlfriend. He was also asked if he really trusts Julia, particularly now that she’s working with an ex-boyfriend. The actor then gave his reply about the movie and the career of Julia, as well as how he felt about it all.

Gerals also previously posted a touching message for Julia. He posted it on social media after the screening of “Un/happy For You.” It can be recalled that the said movie features Julia and her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Garcia, as main characters. In Gerald’s message, he recognized the hard work that Julia poured into the movie.
