Ruffa Gutierrez is one proud but sad mother as she recently sent off her youngest daughter, Venice Bektas to university in a different country.

On Friday, August 16, Ruffa took to her Instagram page, @iloveruffag, to share some heartfelt snaps she took with her daughters before leaving.

According to Ruffa, her youngest daughter, Venice, will now spread her wings and begin a new chapter as a university student abroad.

In her post, Ruffa admitted it was very difficult to say goodbye and that she had been ugly crying.

Despite what she felt, Ruffa used the hashtag "#SadButProudMom" on her official Instagram page.

"Today, my youngest daughter, @venicebektas , will spread her wings and begin a new chapter in her life as a university student. Saying goodbye is sooo difficult! I’ve been ugly crying for an hour now but I know that you will be chasing your dreams while forging new friendships. Be a good girl, focus, study hard and always pray. I love you! @loringabriella , please be a caring ate and visit Venice when you have time. #SadButProudMom #EmptyNester," she wrote.

Meanwhile, Ruffa Gutierrez’s eldest daughter, Lorin Bektas, marks her 21st birthday today. The celebrity mom took to social media to pen a heartfelt message to her daughter. In her message, Ruffa penned a funny yet relatable note as she welcomes her child to adulthood. The actress and former beauty queen also urged Lorin to prioritize career over love.
