Niño Muhlach, a Filipino actor, has finally released a short statement on his official Facebook page amid his son's viral issue on social media.

Earlier on Friday, August 2, Niño penned a short but meaningful statement on how the issue has greatly impacted and affected the family.

According to Niño, their family has suffered so much because of the "unspeakable and vile acts" done to their son, Sandro Muhlach, recently.

In his post, Niño said they are asking for prayers to help them muster the courage and withstand the horrors of re-living the horrifying acts.

"Our family has suffered so much because of the unspeakable and vile acts done to our son. We ask for your prayers to help us muster enough strength and courage to withstand the horror of re-living the dastardly acts of the perpetrators as we seek justice through our legal system. Thank you for all your support and kind words and your gracious gift of space. We truly appreciate it," he wrote.

Sandro Muhlach, whose full name is Allessandro Martinno M. Muhlach, is the eldest son of veteran actor and former child star Niño Muhlach. He started as a theatre actor when he was 13 years old and is now a Kapuso artist.

As previously reported by KAMI, Niño Muhlach’s cryptic online post went viral all over social media. On his Facebook account on Wednesday, the veteran actor penned a fiery remark that sparked intrigue among netizens. The former child wonder, however, did not mention whom his post was addressed to.

Meanwhile, Niño Muhlach sold one of his FAMAS trophies to Boss Toyo. FAMAS, which stands for the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences, is one of the most sought after awards in the Philippine showbiz industry. In a video shared by Boss Toyo on his channel, “Pinoy Pawn Stars,” the show’s host accepted the asking price of Niño’s sons, Sandro and Alonzo, of P500K.
