Miles Ocampo recently defended Joey de Leon following his “pataba” remark during her birthday celebration on 'Eat Bulaga.'

In an interview with Inquirer, Miles shared that Joey immediately apologized after the issue arose.

She recalled Joey telling her the next day, "Huy, sorry ah yung mga tao nag-react."

Miles assured him that it was okay and that they had no issue.

“Si Boss Joey, sa mga Dabarkads, siya po yung taong sobrang updated sa lahat. Kaya po noong lumabas po yung issue na yun, updated siya agad. So the next day talaga parang, ‘Huy, sorry ah yung mga tao nag-react.’ Sabi ko ‘okay lang po, Boss Joey.’ Sa’min naman po wala lang ‘yun,” she said.
“Hindi lang siguro sanay ang mga tao,” she added.
“Siguro naman po alam na nila, ilang taon na po ang ‘Eat Bulaga’ at alam na nila kung paano ang biruan at paano ang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal. Madalas po yung asaran ang pagso-sho ng love namin sa isa’t isa. So walang problema po talaga.”

Miles Ocampo is a Filipino actress and commercial model. She is a former mainstay in the now-defunct Kapamilya children's gag show "Goin' Bulilit." Previously, she was under Star Magic from 2004 to 2022. Miles is currently under Crown Artist Management, a talent agency founded by Maja Salvador. She was also one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show "Eat Bulaga."

In a previous report by KAMI, Miles Ocampo shared a hilarious video on her Facebook page. She captioned the said clip with, "Sorry po, bossing." Apparently, the video was an excerpt of an episode of 'Eat Bulaga' in which Miles unintentionally bumped into Vic Sotto, which caused him to hit his mouth on the microphone accidentally. In the video, Miles is also seen adorably apologizing to the veteran host.

Earlier, Miles Ocampo starred in the MMFF 2023 movie “Family of Two." At the MMFF 2023 Awards Night, Miles won the Best Supporting Actress award. On Instagram, Miles opened up about her reaction to the victory, as well as her rollercoaster career in showbiz. She also expressed her gratitude to her co-stars Alden Richards and Sharon Cuneta.
