Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”

In a previous report by KAMI, Kim Chiu, in a recent social media post, shared her reaction to the humorous post of Melai Cantiveros where she tried to mimic the Belo pose of Kimmy. It can be recalled that Melai recently tried to copy the pose of Kim Chiu on a Belo poster and shared the photo of it on social media. In her reaction, Kim said there’s no question but nothing can beat Melai when it comes to things like this. She then expressed her affection for the TV host-comedienne and fellow Bisaya.

Earlier, Kim also shared on social media the award she received from the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. She was awarded as the "Female TV Host of the Year" at the Box Office Entertainment Awards. In her IG Stories, Kim thanked GMMSF for the award that she received. Other artists who also received an award from the body include Kathryn Bernardo, Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, and a lot more.
