Pia Wurtzbach, a former beauty queen, recently expressed her gratitude after winning an award at The EMIGALA Awards in Dubai.

On Wednesday, May 1, Pia took to her Instagram page to upload a series of photos that were taken at the awards show she attended.

In her online post, Pia jokingly excused the late posts since she has been traveling a lot and has been catching up on sleep lately.

Following this news, Pia thanked everyone who has supported her on her journey, saying she was deeply honored to receive the award.

Pia Wurtzbach is a Filipino-German actress, model, and Miss Universe 2015 titleholder. She is one of the four Filipinas to earn the title. She is now married to travel entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncey. They had their wedding in Seychelles.
