Maine Mendoza recently responded to a netizen's tweet that mentioned her husband, Arjo Atayde, with regards to her short haircut.

Earlier, on Sunday, April 21, Maine took to her social media pages to announce that she got an even shorter haircut while she was abroad.

However, the well-known actress-TV host immediately regretted her decision, saying "it looks off" to her fans and followers on social media.

According to Maine, while it looks okay in the video, it actually looks off in real life, prompting the latter to even upload a sad-looking selfie.

Following this news, on X, one netizen wondered if her husband, Arjo, had something to say about her now-shorter haircut for this year.

"Curious lang, di ka ba napagsabihan ni Cong Arjo sa ikli ng hair mo?" to which Maine simply responded, "Bakit naman niya ako pagsasabihan?"

Maine rose to prominence after her Dubsmash videos went viral, which helped her land a role as Yaya Dub in the country’s longest-running noontime show, "Eat Bulaga." The actress is now married to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

She even uploaded a black-and-white photo that she took from the wedding on IG. Needless to say, many netizens' hearts were warmed upon seeing Maine react to the event.

Meanwhile, Maine Mendoza reacted to a blind item on TikTok. Previously, @basicpinay uploaded a video about a blind item regarding a female host. Apparently, the unnamed female host, who is known for being "kalog," is actually "mataray" in real life. Eventually, a lot of netizens started name-dropping Maine, prompting the latter to react afterward.
