According to Soompi, Bo Ram’s agency XANADU Entertainment confirmed her sudden death in a statement.

“It’s true that Park Bo Ram died on April 11,” said the agency. “The cause of death is currently being investigated by the police.”

“All of our fellow artists and employees at Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness. It is even more heartbreaking to deliver the sudden news to fans who support Park Bo Ram,” it added.

The agency also urged the public to “refrain from making speculative reports so that the grieving family and colleagues can commemorate the deceased.”

As per All K-pop, the singer was found unconscious in the restroom while drinking at a friend’s home. The friends present called 119 immediately and attempted to perform CPR on Bo Ram.

According to Manila Bulletin, Park Bo Ram gained prominence when she competed in the audition program “SuperStar K2” in 2010, and debuted as a singer in 2014.

Aside from Lee Sang Eun, there have been other South Korean celebrities who died recently at a young age.

Nahee, a South Korean singer-songwriter, died on November 8 at age 24. The cause of death has not been disclosed by her family. Nahee is best known for her songs “Blue City,” “Love Note,” and “Rose.“
