Mark Escueta, in a a recent post on Instagram, shared a photo of the drumset he’s using during the Rivermaya reunion concert showing a photo of his family apparently attached to the snare drum.

In Mark’s post, one can see part of the big stage at the SMDC Festival Grounds with the drums he’s using in the foreground during the much-anticipated reunion concert.
It can be recalled that last year, the group announced that they would be getting together again in once concert after more than 20 years.
The original members of the group consists of Mark, Bamboo Mañalac, Rico Blanco, Nathan Azarcon, and Perf de Castro.

Only Mark, Bamboo, Rico, and Nathan got together for the said reunion concert. There was no mention why Perf wouldn’t be joining.
In the recent IG post of Mark, he wrote a caption indicating he’s been dreaming for a long time about the said reunion concert to happen.
“This is how I reminded myself that I wasn't dreaming,” Mark wrote in his post.
He also indicated that his inspiration is his family, saying that he’s offering everything to his wife, singer-actres-TV Host Jolina Magdangal, and their two kids, Pele and Vika.
“Love you Mama, Pele & Vika. Para sa inyo ang lahat ,” the Rivermaya founding member and drummer wrote further in his post.
Mark then expressed his gratitude to the Almighty, adding the hashtags #TeamEscueta and #RivermayaTheReunion.
“Thank you Lord, sobra ,” Mark wrote.
Mark Escueta is a Filipino musician. He is also one of the founding members of the Pinoy rock band Rivermaya. He is the husband of Jolina Magdangal.
Jolina, the wife of Mark, took to Instagram last year to share how heavy her heart is because her husband and son would be gone for two months. Mark would be having a concert tour in Amerika and Pele went with him. According to Jolens, it was the first time that Pele would be away from her for a long time. Jolens said that it was just very painful and was just thankful that her daughter, Vika is still there with her.
Two years ago during the presidential election campaign, Mark took to Instagram and shared a lovely video when his daughters met VP Leni Robredo. Jolina Magdangal, his wife, was the one who brought them onstage after the grand rally. The whole family went to Pampanga to show their overwhelming support for VP Leni. In a heartfelt caption, the Rivermaya founding member told his daughters that they are standing together with many more parents, for them, their children.
