A video of the moment when the audio system of the Rivermaya Reunion concert failed has gone viral.

It occurred in the midst of the concert, when the band was performing the song, "20 Million."

At that point, the concert organizer announced that they would be having a "technical problem break."

Everything went silent as the sound system failed in the whole concert area.

However, it only took a few minutes to get everything back up, and the iconic band continued with their performances.

The concert is currently among the trending topics on social media.

Most, if not all, of the comments state that it was truly a huge success.

Rico Blanco is a Pinoy singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, endorser, and entrepreneur. He rose to fame as one of the founding members, and served as the main songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist of the Filipino rock band Rivermaya from 1994 until 2007, and has been a solo artist since 2008. Rico’s songs and performances gained success and critical acclaim, earning himself a reputation of being one of the well-received local music icons in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, singer-actress Maris Racal, the girlfriend of Rico, showed her full support during the Rivermaya Reunion Concert. She even wore a headdress and brought a banner with the words "Rico my Oppa!" Earlier, Maris shared the goings on before this year's much-awaited concert started. It was in May of 2021 when Rico and Maris confirmed their relationship.

It can be recalled that last year, singer-actress-TV host Jolina Magdangal, the wife of Rivermaya drummer Mark Escueta, shared the rehearsal video of the 90s band for their reunion concert. The said video was taken by Bojie Yangco who, like Jolina, was very excited to see the group together again after a couple of decades. The said reunion concert was held at the SMDC Festival Concert Grounds last night February 17, 2024.
