During the initial stages of the interview, the actress discussed about the issue of “mental health” in the Philippines and how Filipinos “don’t like to talk about it that much.”

“‘Cause in the Philippines, yeah, we don't really like to talk about mental health that much,” Liza said during the initial phase of the interview.

She also said that Filipinos consider such issue as a “taboo topic.”

She then touched on the Pinoy culture of “utang na loob” or debt of gratitude, which for the actress is like rendering someone forever in debt of gratitude for whatever it is a person has.

“And we have this like Filipino saying called like ‘utang na loob’ which means like you're forever in debt to just be grateful for whatever it is that you have,” Liza said.

The co-star of ‘Lisa Frankenstein’ also talked about other qualities of Filipinos, like their belief in being “so resilient when it comes to facing challenges, but were only actually, according to the actress, “like we’re just people pleasers.”
