Dingdong Dantes has recently taken to social media to pen a heartfelt post regarding his recent Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) journey.

In his lengthy post on Instagram, the actor revealed his genuine prayers when he joined the film festival.

“When we joined the MMFF, my prayer was for the strength to be an effective storyteller, aiming to touch lives, particularly during this holiday season. The other prayer was for the revival of vibrancy in local cinema, a return to its glory days.”

He went on to extend his salute to other MMFF entries.

Dingdong Dantes is a famous actor who works for the Kapuso network. He is also an accomplished television host. He tied the knot with famous actress Marian Rivera on December 30, 2014, and they have two children – Maria Letizia "Zia" Dantes and Jose Sixto "Ziggy" Dantes IV. The two are considered the power couple of GMA.

In a previous report by KAMI, the movie "Rewind" of Dingdong and Marian has grossed more than P368M as of writing. This was revealed by content creator and PUSH-awardee most popular entertainment blogger Rod Magaru on the social media platform X. It was followed by Pilo Pascual's "Mallari" and the historical film "Gomburza."

Dingdong shared a cute video of his family at the park last December. They were having fun on the swings when Sixto suddenly requested, "Can you bring me to heaven?" This led both his parents, Dingdong and Marian Rivera, to exclaim "Huy!" Many netizens found the video too cute, with a number of parents expressing the same reaction to the little boy's request.
