Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” expressed her opinion on the “unfollow” issue surrounding actress Kathryn Bernardo.

It can be recalled that just recently, Kathryn has “unfollowed” her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, on social media.

However, some netizens and showbiz insiders were surprised when the actress also unfollowed Gillian Vicencio, Julia Barretto, and Liza Soberano.

Gillian was among the cast in Kathryn’s new movie, “A Very Good Girl,” and was previously rumored to be the third party in the defunct KathNiel, an accusation that Gillian has denied.

As regards Julia, Nay Cristy said that perhaps it might be because the former is BFF with Daniel’s sister, Maggie, which could have prompted Kathryn to “unfollow” Julia.

“Ito namang si Liza Soberano, dati naman niyang di pina-follow si Kathryn, eh bakit siya ipa-follow ni Kathryn?” Nay Cristy said as regards Kathryn’s “unfollowing” of Lisa.

“Ika nga natin di ba? Hindi bale nang iilang kaibigang pinagkakatiwalaan, kesa sa marami na hindi mo naman pupuwedeng ituring na kaibigan talaga, diba? Kung pamparami lang ng pangalan sa listahan,” she added.

The veteran columnist also asked why would someone befriend another if it would just bring pain.

“Bakit ka ba makikipagkaibigan o makikipaglapit, kung sakit lang din ang ibibigay sa yo?” she asked.

“Sabi ko nga eh, mga pampadagdag sa listahan, alisin na, diba. Iba pa rin yung iilan na mapagkakatiwalaan. Tama lang naman si Kathryn dyan,” Nay Cristy concluded.

She posted an image of a Guy Fawkes mask popularized in the movie “V For Vendetta“ and included the caption: ”We Know What You Did Last Summer.” Kaye added: “2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023 — and the very first one that I know — 2014.”
