Kapamilya broadcast journalist Karen Davila celebrated her 53rd birthday on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

She marked her special day in a lovely restaurant together with her loved ones.

The ‘TV Patrol’ anchor then took to social media and published a carousel of photos showing glimpses of the birthday celebration.

“WOKE UP TO 53. Thank you Lord. Another year with the gift of life,” she wrote in the caption.

The prominent newscaster also shared a beautiful poem by Catherine Pulsifer titled “A Life Full of Gratitude.”

Furthermore, Karen thanked those who attended her fun birthday lunch. She likewise wrote a heartfelt message to all her friends.

“Thank you for making time for lunch today! I feel so blessed. To dear friends old and true, that of 20 to 30+ years -please know I hold you so close to my heart.”

Karen Davila is a journalist, radio broadcaster, newsreader and television presenter in the Philippines. She is best known for her news programs on ABS-CBN. Karen has also found immense success as a YouTube content creator. She is now one of the anchors on ANC.

Recently, the award-winning journalist shared a heartwarming post about her mother’s 89th birthday. She shared clips of her mother’s birthday lunch with her loved ones. The broadcaster’s mother also had to undergo a physical therapy session on her birthday. According to Karen, her mother has been diagnosed with mild Parkinson's disease and neuropathy issues.

In a previous post on Instagram, Karen was shown visiting the wake of Mike Enriquez and revealed what he was to her. She described him as someone who is a very good friend.
