MJ Lastimosa reacted to the iconic win of Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios as the new Miss Universe 2023.

The beauty queen has taken to X and commended the newly-crowned queen.

She noted how the girls around Miss Nicaragua were all jumping for joy and celebrating her win.

MJ also highlighted how one would know that the newly-crowned Miss U 2023, has a good heart.

Sheynnis Palacios is the first to bag the much-coveted crown for Miss Universe for Nicaragua.

Her reaction when she was announced as the new Miss Universe 2023 says it all.

Mary Jean Ramirez Lastimosa, more popularly known as MJ Lastimosa, is a Filipino-Arabian model, host, actress, TV presenter, and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2014 and was the Philippines' bet to the Miss Universe 2014 pageant where she was able to get into the Top 10.

Two days ago, MJ took to Twitter and shared her thoughts on the performance of Ms. Thailand. According to the beauty queen, Ms. Thailand is really strong this year. She said that if ever Thailand would win, it would be their third crown, the last having been won in the 1980's. MJ also said that in case she gets the crown, she will surely be a huge star in 'Thailandia.'

In various posts on her socmed accounts, MJ appeared unbothered by the statements made against her by the Miss Grand International founder, Nawat Itsaragrisil. She also did not make any statements as regards to the pronouncements may by Nawat. It can be recalled that the Miss Grand International founder made some statements on video last September.
