During an interview with PeopleAsia, the actress looked back on their first encounter and explained how they stayed in touch as friends before reconnecting years later.

Asked how they met and whether sparks immediately flew, she shared that their introduction happened through someone they both knew.

“Well, we met in 2019 through a mutual friend,” she recalled.

Bea also mentioned that he visited a dining establishment where she was one of the owners at the time. However, their first meeting did not immediately lead to romance.

“And then sparks didn't fly instantly for us. It wasn't an instant thing, but we remained friends,” she said.

Her answer offered a timeline of their connection. They first crossed paths in 2019, remained friends, and reconnected in 2024.

“And then in 2024 we reconnected and now the rest is history,” the actress added.

She did not go into detail about what prompted their reconnection or exactly when their friendship became romantic. Instead, she kept her account focused on how they met and the years that followed.

The conversation also turned to their life together and the possibility of starting their own holiday traditions.

When asked whether she could see herself creating those traditions with her husband, Bea said she imagined that happening when they have children.

“I think we'll have traditions when we finally have kids,” she shared. “And I'm looking forward to it.”

For the actress, those customs would develop naturally over time. She agreed during the conversation that traditions are not something a couple can simply force.

“Like for example like having coffee with him every morning before he goes to work makes me happy and giddy,” she said. “Like I really truly look forward to it.”

That everyday routine was one example she gave when asked about the excitement of this new stage in her life.

Bea also shared her hopes for their future, saying she wanted them to build the life they had dreamed of and continue growing together as a couple.

When the discussion turned to how many children they hoped to have, she answered, “As many as we could.”

Still, she made clear that they were approaching that part of their future gradually.

“We're taking baby steps for now,” she said, adding, “One day at a time.”
