Abegail Rait uploaded a video on her YouTube channel addressing the accusations thrown at her after she revealed that she had a romantic relationship with the legendary rapper Francis Magalona when he was still alive.

According to Abegail, she wanted to clarify that when she and Francis M got into a relationship, the hip-hop artist and his wife Pia Magalona were already separated for years.

She also stated that she did not violate any laws since Francis‘s legal status was single, not married, when they got to know each other.

“Ito na lang din pong tanong ang gusto kong maliwanagan. Sana may maglakas ng loob na magsabi na wala na sila ni Pia nung dumating ako sa buhay niya.

“Dalaga po ako noong naging kami ni Kiko. Wala na po siya sa family residence nila for years. And wala po akong na-violate na batas sa Pilipinas kasi single po ang marital status ng partner ko hanggang sa kamatayan niya.

Lastly, Abegail claimed that Francis M showed her and her family some documents proving that he was single already.

“Ipinaliwanag sa akin ni Kiko from the start what we are facing, documents will show. Kaya pinagpaalam niya yan sa mommy ko at sa pamilya ko,” Abegail said.

Francis Magalona was one of the most famous hip-hop artists in the Philippines. He also became beloved as one of the hosts of ‘Eat Bulaga.’ Francis M was married to Pia Magalona, and their children include celebrities Saab, Maxene, and Elmo Magalona.

Just recently, a video of her performing Francis Magalona's "Kaleidoscope World" went viral. In the video, Gaile introduced herself as the "youngest daughter of Francis Magalona." She also sang his song as a tribute on his 14th death anniversary.

Previously, Gaile and her mother, Abegail, made headlines when they visited the shop of 'Boss Toyo' to sell one of Francis Magalona's jerseys. There, Abegail made the revelation that Gaile is her and Francis M's daughter and that she used to be in a relationship with Master Rapper.
