Jaymee Joaquin, the popular host of the gameshow "Games Uplate Live," has passed away.

This was revealed by her close friend, Fides VA, in a Facebook post on Oct. 18.

Her friend penned a heartfelt and meaningful post about Jaymee, underscoring how the actress lived a beautiful life.

"Our dearest Jaymee Topacio aka Jaymee Joaquin, Jaymee Wins officially became an angel today. You’ve lived the most beautiful life, Jaymee. You will be greatly missed on this planet," Fides said in her post.

Aside from Fides, her cousin, Erika Geronimo, also announced the passing of Jaymee on Facebook.

For Erika, Jaymee was able to inspire a lot of lives.

"It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of my cousin, Jaymee Topacio aka Jaymee Wins or Jaymee Joaquin. She lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, and love."

Jaymee Joaquin is a former actress, host and model. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and went into remission in 2017. The cancer came back in 2019 and once again in early 2020.

Jaymee’s wish of meeting Daiana Menezes, a celebrity cancer survivor, came true. Daiana visited Jaymee at St. Luke’s Medical Center where the latter was admitted due to the progression of her cancer. Furthermore, Daiana comforted Jaymee during her visit and shared with her some tips for battling cancer. She also participated in Jaymee’s documentary about her cancer journey and did not ask for a fee.

Jaymee was admitted to St. Luke’s Medical Center from April 22 to 27 after suffering from breathing difficulties. The doctors told Jaymee that her cancer had progressed, leading to fluid build-up in her per pericardial and right pleural area. She was discharged from the hospital already but still has catheters and drains attached to her. Jaymee was also planning to lengthen her stay in the Philippines so that she could spend more time with her loved ones.
