According to Jaymee, Daiana comforted her during her visit and shared with her some tips for battling cancer.

Furthermore, Daiana participated in Jaymee’s documentary about her cancer journey and did not ask for a fee. Her only request was for Jaymee to do her best to recover from her illness.

“’Is there a celebrity cancer survivor living in the Philippines that you’d like to meet?,’ a friend who works in TV and film production asked. ‘Daiana,’ I said and she asked why. ‘Because she only did lumpectomy and refused to do chemo, radiation and mastectomy. And she did all her alternative treatments and lifestyle changes in the Philippines too, not a first world country yet she stayed on remission.’
“I sure am so grateful and glad she accepted my request, carved out precious time to see me and share her story, healthy goodies, tips and ideas that truly gave me a stronger boost of hope. As per her fee for taking part in the cancer documentary I’m producing? She only wanted me to get well as my form of payment.
