He entered the studio while being introduced as the driver of Papa Ethan, father of Gimme 5: Laro ng Mga Henyo's AI-generated segment host named Ellen.

It is also noteworthy that Jimmy appeared on the program during Joey de Leon's birthday celebration on Saturday.

"I'd like to greet you a happy, happy, happy birthday," Jimmy told Joey after giving a birthday cake to the latter.

Furthermore, Vic, Allan K, Paolo Ballesteros and Wally Bayola, could not help getting emotional during their reunion with Jimmy.

Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon—collectively known as TVJ. The show made headlines after TVJ and their co-hosts parted ways with Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE Inc.).

Last July 1, TVJ and their co-hosts finally kicked off their noontime show on TV5. During the pilot episode, the iconic trio could not help but cry as they entered their "new home." Pauleen Luna, Kristine Hermosa and other personalities related to the hosts likewise became emotional.

Pauleen and Danica later reacted to EAT’s debut on TV5. According to Pauleen, the EAT hosts and their family members are super emotional and grateful to TV5. She believes that her husband Vic Sotto and the other EAT hosts will give their 100% to show their gratitude. Vic’s daughter Danica expressed how proud and happy she is for TVJ, calling this new chapter “exciting times.”
