In a recent Instagram video, Malia, the youngest child of Filipino actress and comedienne Pokwang, invited netizens to follow her on her new Instagram account. In the brief clip, the charming toddler confidently said, "Hello guys, follow me on my new Instagram. Thank you.”
Pokwang, the doting mother, added her own message in the caption, instructing fans to follow Malia's new account with the handle @malia_tisayngmasa18. Alongside the call for followers, Pokwang encouraged everyone to report her daughter's previous Instagram account, @malia_obrian.
American actor Lee O'Brian, Malia's father, has access to the older Instagram handle. Pokwang and Lee O'Brian have been embroiled in an ongoing conflict, which even led to Pokwang filing a deportation case against him at the Bureau of Immigration.
“Ayan follow nyo daw sya sa bago nyang IG sa @malia_tisayngmasa18 then report na nating lahat ang lumang IG nya @malia_obrian,” Pokwang wrote.

Marietta Subong or Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.” She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.
In other news, Pokwang treated her social media followers to an adorable video showing Malia and Eugene Domingo. According to the Kapuso celebrity mom, the reel shows Malia’s Tagalog lesson with Eugene. Eugene can be heard and seen asking, “Masarap ang fried chicken?” The five-year-old celebrity baby then enthusiastically answered in Tagalog.
Pokwang also tweeted about Korean star Ryan Bang's wish to live in the Philippines permanently. The comedienne praised Ryan as a good person, contrasting with some other foreigners possibly having ulterior motives. Netizens speculated that her comments were hinting at Lee O’Brian, her former American partner.
