Pokwang recently took to Twitter to express her thoughts on Korean TV personality Ryan Bang's desire to live in the Philippines indefinitely.

In her tweet, Pokwang praised Ryan Bang as a "mabuting tao" (good person) who isn't a "manggagamit" (user) or "oportunista" (opportunist). She went on to allude to the presence of other foreigners in the country with less noble intentions.

While Pokwang did not explicitly name anyone, netizens quickly speculated that her comments may have been aimed at her former American partner, Lee O’Brian. The actress had previously filed a deportation case against O’Brian, which led to further speculation that he might be among the individuals she was indirectly referring to.

“si @ryanbang deserve nya tumira at manatili sa Pilipinas kasi mabuting tao at hindi manggagamit at oportunista ❤️ yung iba dyan USER lang ang peg! No no no,” Pokwang said.

In other news, Pokwang was featured in Luis Manzano’s recent “Luis Listens” vlog. In the latter part of the interview, Luis showed a picture of “Lee” from his phone to Pokwang and asked her to give him a message. The comedienne then reacted, “Wala sa usapan ‘yan,” and jokingly walked out. After Pokwang gave the message, Luis showed the camera his phone with a photo of Lee Min Ho being displayed. The celebrity mom and Luis took to their respective Instagram Stories and posted about the said moment.

Previously, Pokwang took to social media and shared how happy she was that she was part of the newly launched "It's Showtime" on GMA's GTV. The comedienne pointed out that she is so happy to see that both ABS-CBN and GMA-7 have united to bring happiness to people. She also underscored that she is happy to be able to see and hug those people who have been part of her career in showbiz.
