“Ano ang pinakamemorable na "punishment" sa 'yo noon ng dad mo?” the follower asked.

She then enumerated several punishments she received from her dad, among these were having to kneel on monggo seeds, cutting off her allowance, and having to live with her nannies.

“Ang naaalala ko ay yung pinaluhod ako sa monggo seeds at yung pinagpa-jeep niya ako. Dapat lang naman yun dahil sadyang mapagmalaki ako nun at kahit papano, natulungan akong maging mapagpa-kumbaba,” Ellen answered.

The celebrity also recalled her father forcing her to live with her nannies just so she would learn how difficult it is.

“Maldita kasi ako sa mga yaya ko noon kaya ginusto ng ama ko na ma-experience ko kung paano mamuhay ang mga yaya ko at natuto naman matapos ang tatlong buwang mamuhay ako kasama sila,” the actress recalled.

Ellen also said that her dad once stopped her allowance because of her rebellious attitude but she said that punishment brought something good as she learned how to make money on her own.

“Pinutol niya yung allowance ko dahil sa pagka-rebellious ko pero meron din namang naidulot na mabuti yun dahil natuto akong maghanap ng pera, di yung para akong spoiled brat na nag-aantay lang bigyan ng pera,” Ellen said.

The actress came from a well-off family in Cebu with their clans businesses ranging from motel-chains to many other ventures.

Ellen Adarna is a Filipina actress known for her beauty and jolly personality. Another question asked of her during her Q&A session with her followers was about the time she actually left home. "If you don't mind madam. Ngano nilayas man ka ato na time? [Why did you ran away from home at that time?]" asked the netizen. She then narrated what really transpired at the time.

She also shared having experienced riding in a jeep when she was living in Cebu. She said that it happened when she was 13 years old and ran away from their house. After one day she also went back to their house because she no longer had money. It is said that besides this, she slept in the maid's quarters and washed clothes.
