Epic Events, the organizing body behind the much-anticipated Seo In-guk fan meet in Manila, has released a heartfelt statement regarding the unexpected host replacement that stirred conversation among fans and attendees.

The original host, Kristel Fulgar, who had been eagerly preparing for the event featuring her Korean idol, shared her perspective in a vlog, revealing that she was replaced by Karen Bordador due to the perception of lacking energy by the Korean technical director of the fan meet.

Epic Events acknowledged Kristel Fulgar's unwavering professionalism and the exemplary manner in which she conducted herself throughout the entire process. The statement read, "We would like to thank Kristel Fulgar for her professionalism and being a class act all throughout! She was one of the earliest to arrive and was already at the rehearsals at 7AM and gave positive energy to everyone!"

The organizers expressed their commitment to including Kristel in the program, going so far as to explore the possibility of having her perform a song number or duet with Seo In-guk for the fans. However, the decision to remove her as the host was ultimately beyond their control.

While acknowledging the unfortunate turn of events, Epic Events extended their gratitude to Kristel Fulgar and her family for their warmth, kindness, and grace in the face of disappointment. So I had a chin botox before going to the salon. Just noticed that I got bombarded with comments about my chin! Haha! Don’t worry the swelling has just subsided now"
