Alden Richards, in a Kapuso Exclusives interview, answered questions concerning his career.

He was asked what he would like to change in it and he said that there was none considering that whatever the present is has something to do with the past.

"A huge part of what we are right now is our past, so nothing has to be changed,” Alden said

He also said that what he's doing is more of inspiring people.

"It’s really more of inspiring people with the things that we do. Of course we are here in this position for us to give entertainment, to make the lives of our viewers and supporters a little better every day while watching our contents and the things that we do and at the same time release, ang akin talaga, is ‘yung inspirasyon na naibibigay ko sa supporters ko,” he said.

Richard Reyes Faulkerson, Jr., more popularly by his screen name, Alden Richards, is a Pinoy actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He is also known as “Asia’s Multimedia Star” after receiving the Asian Star Prize awards during the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards of 2019 for acting. He rose to fame as the partner of Maine Mendoza in their tandem, AlDub, on “Eat Bulaga.”

Previously, the actor's dad, Richard Faulkerson, gave what appeared to be a hilarious, though a bit sarcastic, answer to the question of a netizen. Earlier, the said netizen asked him if he relies and is dependent on Alden for his daily sustenance. The elder Richard seemed to have given an answer he thought might have been expected by the netizen. Other netizens immediately were able to read between the lines of Alden’s dad, prompting many of them to call out the netizen who asked the question.

In a separate interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Alden admitted that he used to imagine the life of his rich classmates. He said that he would imagine having delicious breakfasts before going to class, and brought to and from school in private vehicles. The actor also talked about the pocket money that his classmates would have daily and sometimes compare them to his own. Alden did say, however, that he accepted there are some things that were just not possible for him because of their impoverished condition.
