Angus Cloud, best known for his role on HBO’s teen drama “Euphoria,” has passed away at the age of 25.

In a report by Time, Cloud’s publicist, Cait Bailey, said the actor died Monday at his family home in Oakland, California.

As per Reuters, there was no specific cause of death given, but his family said in a statement that he had suffered from mental health issues and was hit hard by his father’s death.

“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson later commented on the actor's passing and said “there was no one quite like Angus.”

“He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”

Cloud, born July 10, 1998, in Oakland, portrayed Fezco “Fez” O’Neill in Emmy Award-winning series “Euphoria.” He acted alongside Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer to name a few.

Aside from Cloud, there were other celebrities who died recently.

Last July, Lee San Eun, a South Korean soprano singer, died at the age of 46. The well-known singer was found dead on July 6 in a girls’ comfort room right before her performance. An event staffer found her lifeless in the washroom on the 3rd floor of the Culture and Art Centre in Samnak-dong Gimcheon-si.

South Korean trot singer Haesoo passed away at the age of 29. Korean media reported that her body was found dead in their residence on May 12. A representative of the late artist also confirmed the heartbreaking news in an official statement. The statement mentioned that Haesoo's funeral will be held "quietly and privately," according to the bereaved family's wishes.
