Joey De Leon has posted another "hugot" on his Instagram account, which eventually reached viral status.
In his post, the TV host and comedian pointed out the size of their studio at TV5, saying that while it may have small dimensions, the support they have received is higher than a helicopter.

“Ganito kaliit lang ang studio namin sa TV5, parang elevator pero 1,000 floors naman ang taas ng ibinigay nyong pagpansin sa amin…lagpas helicopter! ” Joey wrote on IG.
It can be recalled that the launching of their rival noontime show, “It’s Showtime,” featured one of its main hosts, Vice Ganda, being flown from the ABS-CBN building to the GMA Network building via a helicopter.

Joey, however, did not give any indication whether his post has any connection with the grand opening of “It’s Showtime.”
Meanwhile, netizens showered his posts with positive commentaries, with many of them expressing gratitude that TVJ and the Dabarkads have finally found a new home.
“No one can put down truly good men (TVJ) . Simple Lang ang show kahapon kumpara sa iba grabe ang effort , Pero may laman at tatak sa puso,” said one netizen.

The noontime show of TVJ and the Dabarkads, which is simply titled “EAT” was launched on TV5 last Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.
In a related article that was earlier reported by KAMI, Joey De Leon, Tito Sotto, and Vic Sotto encountered Boboy Garovillo and Jim Paredes of the Apo Hiking Society at the 450th anniversary celebration of Pasig. Joey, Tito and Vic Sotto‘s first show was “Okay Lang”, which aired 50 years ago on Channel 13 -“Okay Lang” featured the Apo Hiking Society when Danny Javier was still alive and part of that group. Joey included “Wow Lima” and “Okay Lang ang Five” in the caption, referring to TVJ’s transfer to their new home network TV5.

Meanwhile, Joey wasn’t able to stop his tears from falling as he was giving a message to “Eat Bulaga” and TVJ followers during the launching of their new noontime show on TV5. Their new show, simply called “EAT,” started airing last Saturday, July 1, 2023 in their new home network. The comic trio became very emotional on seeing the immense support of their followers both online and on free TV. Near the end of their message, Vic said that they are still waiting for one more thing to come home to their new network.
