Kobe Paras and Erika Poturnak were recently spotted in the island paradise of Siargao and seem to be having the time of their life.

Photos of the two immediately made rounds online and a video showing the two arriving together at the airport also aroused created a buzz on social media.

However, apart from the video, which was posted on TikTok, there were no other materials showing the two are together.

While Erika and Kobe posted photos on their respective Instagram accounts showing that indeed they are in Siargao, there are no pics that show them in one frame.

Like Erika, the recent photos on Kobe’s IG page show him roaming the island and taking a dip all by himself.

It can be recalled that dating rumors about Kobe and Erika sparked in June of last year after the two were spotted together in Bali, Indonesia.

At the time, Kobe also posted on IG photos of their getaway along with the caption “From Bali with love.”

Several months later, however, the two unfollowed each other on Instagram, though they followed each other again only in January of this year.

Despite the two following each other again, Ina Raymundo, the mom of Erika, came out with a statement saying the couple are no longer together, citing distance as the culprit behind the split.

“No, they're not together. Basta wala na, 'yun lang. Hindi nag-work. Long distance does not work. It's a mutual decision. They're good, no bitterness, nothing,” Ina said then.

With the recent developments, their followers and some netizens are starting to wonder about the real status of their relationship.

As there is no confirmation from either of them, talks about them possibly getting together again remain speculative.

Kobe is a Pinoy basketball player. He was born on September 19, 1997. Listed at 6 feet 6 inches and 189 pounds, he plays the small forward position. He has been a member of the Philippine national team and the national 3x3 team. Kobe committed to play in the United States at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), but withdrew after the university's admissions department determined he did not meet their academic requirements. Instead, he played his freshman year for the Creighton Bluejays in 2016–17 before transferring to Cal State Northridge where he redshirted.

Several months ago, Kobe posted photos of him and then rumored GF Erika Rae Poturnak. In his Instagram Stories, one can see several sweet photos of them together. Sometime later, news of them unfollowing each other created a buzz online. After that, news of them following each other again created a stir on the online grapevine.

On the part of Ina Raymundo’s daughter Erika, her Instagram Stories posts also went viral at the time. Erika uploaded several photos of her being sweet with Kobe Paras, son of PBA legend Benjie Paras. The heartwarming photos show Erika and Kobe cuddling with each other and even giving each other a kiss. The 21-year-old posted the photos on September 19, which is Kobe’s 25th birthday.
