Lolit Solis, in one of her recent Instagram posts, vowed never to run away from any fight, especially if it involves her “alaga.”

At the beginning of her post, Manay Lolit lamented about being in a “gulo” anew in the middle of her dialysis treatment.
“Naku Salve, parang talagang nabuhay ako sa gulo ng mundo. Sa gitna ng dialysis, kuliti at maraming discomfort, nasasali pa ako sa mga kung anuanong issues. Sa edad na 76 akala ko irrelevant na ako at hindi na seseryosohin,” Manay Lolit said.
“Pero kahit ano sabihin ko o ikilos, lagi parin binabantayan at hinahanapan ng issue,” she added.

The veteran columnist then remarked that decades later, she’s still in the middle of controversies.
“Ngayon 56 years later heto parin ako na nasasali sa mga kontrobersiyal na nagaganap sa paligid,” she said.
“Kaloka dahil mas marami pa yatang ganap sa buhay ko kesa sa mga alaga ko, kaya natatawa ako dahil feeling lola Lolit na ako pero meron parin issue,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
She then declared that she would “never run away from any fight,” particularly in cases where it involves her “alaga.”
“I never run away from any fight lalo pag alam ko na tama mga alaga ko. I will take a bullet for them anytime dahil lahat sila para ko ng mga anak,” Manay Lolit said.
“Their pain is my pain, kaya no matter what, I will be at their side. Maipagmamalaki ko na mabubuting tao ang mga talents ko, may mga konting pagkakamali pero walang sinasaktan na tao,” she added.
She then expressed her belief that Paolo Contis, her alaga, was also hurt by his separation from his children.
“Imposibleng hindi iniyakan ni Paolo Contis ang paghihiwalay nila ng mga ina ng mga naging anak niya. Pero ano ang magagawa niya kung sa paghahanap ng forever ay naging mailap ito sa kanya,” she said.
Without mentioning any names, Manay Lolit appealed for understanding for her “alaga,” Paolo.
“Maging mapang unawa tayo, huwag natin isisi sa isang tao pagkakamali ng dalawa. Kaya kahit ano sabihin, I will stand by Paolo Contis side, dahil alam ko, his heart is kind and loving. Give him a chance. Let him be happy,” Manay Lolit said.

Nay Cristy has also answered the post of Manay Lolit, saying that the latter has also constantly criticized actress Bea Alonzo.
