A “transcript” of interview between Manny Pacquiao and veteran broadcast-journalist Karen Davila has been circulating and making noise recently on social media.

KAMI learned that the Senator previously served as the guest on “Headstart,” a program that airs on ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) and is hosted by the said reporter.

Their conversation on-air became controversial after the journalist asked Manny if he has a college degree and if he thinks it is necessary for a politician to have a diploma.

Karen’s questions offended the fans of the boxing champion, but the politician cleared several days later that he took no offense of what transpired during the interview.

However, in a viral post showing the “transcript” of their discussion, the 8-division world champion asked the host if she has a college degree and how much she is earning.

It was also written in the controversial post that Manny told Karen that he is earning more than 1 Billion from his experience even if he has no college degree.

In a fact check conducted by Rappler recently, it was reported that the two famous personalities did not talk about how much they are earning in their professions.

The rumors that the politician belittled the salary of the broadcast-journalist, who is a college degree holder, are also not true.
