- The actor appeared to be busy typing some messages on his phone when Ellen suddenly let out a scream

- Derek was visibly shocked and had to hold on to the side of the door to get his balance right

- He then took on a look that looks like he wasn’t amused by what happened

A video of Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna was posted by the actress on her IG Stories.

It could be seen that Derek was ascending the stairs and was concentrating on his cell phone.

Ellen was behind the doorway and was literally waiting for her husband.

Thereafter, she surprised Derek with a "boo!"

Derek was completely startled and he took a step back.

What was not amiss was how he actually cursed because of what Ellen did.

Ellen could be heard laughing in the background, while Derek's face really looked like he did not share the joy that Ellen felt at that moment.

This isn't the first time that Ellen would startle Derek and this is something that the couple would normally do to each other.

Ellen is a Filipina actress known for her beauty and jolly personality. After being a Kapamilya before her hiatus, she returned to the small screen with her previous show with John Estrada, John en Ellen. She has a son with John Lloyd named Elias Modesto. Ellen is now married to Derek Ramsay, whom she tied the knot with back on November 11, 2021.

The actress then divulged what kind of spell she wanted to cast on that person.
