Rabiya Mateo, proud sa ‘take one’ kissing scene niya kay Dingdong Dantes: “My first on-screen kiss”

- However, Rabiya clarified that the scene itself was sweet and complemented well with the story

Rabiya Mateo revealed that she felt proud about her kissing scene with Dingdong Dantes in their latest movie.

The beauty queen said it was her first on-screen kiss and so indicated that it was a new thing for her.

“I just had my first on-screen kiss, so yun yung aabangan nila and yung story behind that kiss medyo mabigat din,” Rabiya said.

According to the beauty queen, it just took one take and she was what she’s proud of.

“It was just one take so dun ako proud,” she further said.

Rabiya also revealed that she had help from her acting coach, which is why she was able to deliver what was required by the scene.

“With the help of my acting coach, I was able to, I think I did my very best to deliver kung ano man yung hinahanap doon sa scene na yun,” the beauty queen and actress added.

The beauty queen also noted that it was a sweet scene and the background story for it was quite good, which is why it didn’t look distasteful at all.

“It was not at all l*stful of any sort,” Rabiya said.

She also clarified that Jeric, her boyfriend, had no problems when it comes to that scene since he himself is also a celeb and is in showbiz.

Rabiya is a Filipina-Indian model and is the reigning Miss Universe Philippines. The beauty queen represented the Philippines in the 69th Miss Universe pageant held on May 16, 2021, in Florida, USA. She concluded her journey in the prestigious pageant in the top 21.

The beauty queen also recently shared her thoughts on Michelle Dee's revelation that she is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. In PikaPika's interview with the Kapuso beauty queen, she said that the whole thing is very inspiring. Rabiya also said that perhaps Michelle looked for the perfect timing in doing the big reveal. She also said that with Michelle's backstory, she has a fighting chance for the Miss U title.

In another post, Rabiya delighted her TikTok followers with a new video that she uploaded. In the said clip, she is with her fellow Kapuso star and her boyfriend, Jeric Gonzales. The lovely couple is seen dancing to the song 'Girls Like Me Don't Cry'. As of this writing, Jeric and Rabiya's video has already garnered more than 200,000 views on the said video-sharing app.
