The actress expressed her hopes that the public would accept that she is all grown up and that she can take on more mature roles, just like the one in the series, emphasizing that she is already 20 years old and no longer the 12 or 10-year-old that the public has been accustomed to.

"Ang dami pa rin namang nagsasabi na ang bata-bata ko pa. I’m 20 na, and pataas na lang ’yun nang pataas. Sana maiwan na nila ’yung image ko na ako lang ’yung 12-year old, 10-year old na ’yun — na hindi ako puwedeng mag-explore sa mga ganitong roles," said Andrea, as per ABS-CBN's report.

She also emphasized that it is important that one has the freedom when it comes to her growth, especially in expressing oneself.

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.” She was a member of The Gold Squad, Along with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin.
